Refunds and Cancellations
Non- Refundable Deposits (NRD’s) and Cancellations
Most of the furniture for sale on our manxchainsawcarvings.com website is individually made to order to suit customer requirements and we don’t usually have furniture in stock.
If you do need to cancel then please contact us within 5 working days of placing your order. We may be able to refund some or all of your deposit even if work has commenced on your order.
The remaining 50% will then need to be paid in full before dispatch of the order. Goods remain the property of Manx Chainsaw Carvings until paid for in full.
We will send you a receipt for your deposit using the name and email address you provide on your order.
General Cancellations – Stock Items:
You have the right to a 'cooling off' period when buying goods and services online. This means you can cancel your order if you change your mind about wanting the goods.
Isle of Man regulations stipulate that you can do this within 7 working days after the day the goods are delivered. You can cancel your order within this period, even if there's nothing wrong with the goods and get a refund.
We want you to be happy with our products and services and have extended this period to 14 days.
This Cancellation Policy does not take away any statutory rights under consumer law.
General Returns, Refunds & Replacements
We want you to be 100% satisfied with our products and will work with you to reach a hassle-free, amicable solution.
Returns are accepted as long as you inform us within 14 days from receipt of your goods; either in writing or email or by telephone and the products must be returned within 14 days. Your returned products must be in the original packaging and unused and not damaged.
Please note: the cost of returning the goods and the safe return of goods is your responsibility until the order is received at our returns address. We therefore suggest you return items using a recorded delivery service, and retain a proof of delivery for your records.
If you live on the Isle of Man you may personally return the item(s) to our address noted below. A time and date must be agreed via email or telephone call. Goods left at this address without a pre-arranged time and date will be at risk of damage or theft and will not be refunded.
Refunds for any items returned or rejected after this 14 day period will be at our discretion only.
Please unpack and check your item(s) thoroughly before signing for the parcel(s). In the unlikely event your item(s) arrive damaged the buyer is responsible for rejecting the item and refusing to sign for the parcel(s). You must report the damage to Manx Chainsaw Carvings within 48 hours of receiving the parcel(s).
We cannot accept responsibility or issue a refund if damaged item(s) have been signed for – We are unable to claim compensation from the courier or mail service if you have signed for the products.

- Goods that are custom-made, personalised by engraving name, dates, other word or symbols are non-refundable, unless there is a misspelling or the wrong symbol was used.
