Despatch (the time it takes us to make your product and have it ready for delivery)
If you have a must get by date then please do tell us when you place your order. We can accommodate some last minute orders within reason.
Other stock items will be available for despatch or collection (IOM customers only) within 2 working days. See collection note below.
UK Customers
Postage and packaging costs are based on the weight and volume of your packaged order and are quoted at checkout. Discount will be given where multiple items can be sent for the same postage weight.
The following items will be sent by courier and subject to quotation for each delivery address.
Smaller items will be sent using Isle of Man Post/Royal Mail tracked delivery services.
Damaged Goods sent by post
Please unpack and check your item(s) thoroughly before signing for the parcel(s). In the unlikely event your item(s) arrive damaged the buyer is responsible for rejecting the item and refusing to sign for the parcel(s). You must report the damage to Manx Chainsaw Carvings within 48 hours of receiving the parcel(s).
We cannot accept responsibility or issue a refund if damaged item(s) have been signed for – We are unable to claim compensation from the courier or mail service if you have signed for the products.
Items missing from your order
In the unlikely event that there are items missing from your order, you must notify us by email or phone within 24 hours of signing for your parcel. We cannot accept responsibility for items that are missing if a report is not made within the 24 hours.
Isle of Man Customers
Delivery (Custom made items, larger items of indoor and outdoor furniture, chainsaw carvings)
These will be delivered free of charge in our own vehicles.
Deliveries are usually made on a Saturday or weekday evenings before 7.30pm. We will contact you using the email address you provided in your order to arrange a convenient date and time.
If for whatever reason you cannot make a pre-arranged delivery time you must call us on 499304 or send an email to [email protected] and arrange an alternative date and time. A failed delivery will arise if you are not present to receive the item and may incur a failed delivery charge of £20.00.
If you have a van then you are welcome to collect your larger items if you wish.
Collections: Smaller items and Accessories
We do encourage you to collect your order if possible – we want you to be completely happy with your purchase! You are welcome to inspect the item(s) you have bought and if you are not happy we will arrange a refund to your card.
The following items may be collected from our office address below on weekdays after 4pm or evenings by prior arrangement by email or telephone call: email [email protected] or call Tony on (07624) 499304.

Workshop:
Our workshop is located near St Marks/Ballamodha on a private estate. Directions will be given when you telephone or email to arrange collection.
Postage
If you are unable to collect your item then we can post it to you using a tracked delivery service from Isle of Man Post. Postage charges are payable by the customer. We will invoice you and the postal cost is payable prior to despatch.

Wood Sales: green, air and kiln-dried boards
Wood boards may be collected from our office after 4pm or from our workshop during the week by prior arrangement, email or telephone call only. These can be heavy and awkward to move and may require a larger car or van.
Boards between1m and 2,4m long or orders of more than one board will be delivered free of charge.
Deliveries are usually made on a Saturday. We will contact you using the email address you provided in your order to arrange a convenient date and time. If Saturdays are not convenient then the item can be delivered on weekday evenings by prior arrangement.
