We have put together a collection of contemporary, industrial-style, steel legs to complement our DYO furniture collection.  They are made by The Hairpin Leg Company, the market leading producer of high quality, box section steel legs. They are manufactured using a combination of modern CNC techniques and traditional handmade craftsmanship, guaranteeing stability, zero maintenance and years of use.

Standard Leg Sizes

The table legs are made in a range of industry-standard heights and wide enough to suit any project:
 Bench and Coffee table legs:

• 40cm high by 32cm wide. Suitable for live edge wood up to 60cm wide.

 Dining Table and Desk Legs:

• 71cm high by 58cm wide. These are suitable for live edge boards between 60cm and 120cm wide.

 Wide Table and Desk Legs

• 71cm high by 74-78cm wide. These are suitable for live edge boards between 120cm and 150cm wide.

Leg Finishes and Colours

The steel legs can be supplied as bare steel or powder coated in satin clear or black finishes.

• Bare steel is just that with no protective finish applied. They may have fabrication marks and the welds will be visible, adding to their pure industrial look. Bare steel will develop rust colouration or patina when used indoors and is not recommended for outdoor use.
• Clear Powder Coat retains the industrial appearance of bare steel and provides almost invisible protection. 
• Satin Black is a popular choice that works well in any room whatever your style preferences are. 

Custom Colour Powder Coating
If black is too understated or bare steel too raw for your style then we are happy to quote you for a custom colour to complement your living and work space. Colour ranges are defined by RAL Classic colour codes, a standard for all professional users of colors in industry, trade, architecture and design - see our Colour Chart

Custom colour coating is applied by our Isle of Man suppliers. The cost does vary depending on the size of the legs and is £50-£75 per pair.

Please note that once the legs have been custom-coloured then they become personalised and are not refundable. We are happy however to work with you to reach an amicable solution and ensure you get the legs you will be delighted with.
